A friend passed this recipe onto me for Turkey Burgers. I haven't tried them yet but they sound delicious. I think it's something to do with a Weight Watchers recipe and are made and sold by her local butcher as a low fat alternative to regular burgers:

1 1b lean turkey mince
1 small onion grated
3 grated small courgettes
1 tsp soy sauce
1 leval tsp grated fresh root ginger
1 egg yolk
salt and freshly ground pepper

1 Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl untill well combined.Divide the mixture into four and shape into burgers using your hands.

2 Preheat the grill to a medium setting. LIne a grill rack with foil and arrange the burgers on top.Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.

3 Serve with tomato and red onion relish and crisp salad leaves or a selection of vegetables,

I've done something similar from BBC good food (it's not all high cal stuff).

I prepare the mince as soon as I get back from shopping, then shape them into burgers and freeze, so they are ready when you want one or two.

Into 500g turkey mince you add finely chopped spring onion, grated ginger, red chilli finely chopped, oregano and an egg yolk.

Turkey mince is a superfood.
