I am a recent convert to Total 0% yogurt after a tip on THC (from Fiona I think it was), and it is lovely. Workmates often mistake my lunch for fruit and cream, the yogurt looks so thick and creamy.
However, the 2% is even yummier - it is so creamy tasting - and this week Morrisons are selling the individual pots with strawberry compote on the side BOGOF. They are usually far too expensive to buy, but BOGOF makes them affordable, and they are sooooooo YUMMY!!!!

Can I also put in a bid for Yeo Valley Natural Fat Free yoghurt? It is so delicious, creamy, naturally sweet... I could go on and on. Have just had a lunch of aubergine, tomatoes, onion, garlic ratatouille with yoghurt. Trouble is, so many shops only stock the full fat one. But, like Total, it is expensive.

I find the same with Total - you can get the 0% and the full fat one everywhere, but the 2% is quite hard to find. I think it is a bit nicer than the 0% and only a few more calories (plus a small amount of fat makes us feel fuller )

What a shame!! I have got 2 big tubs sitting in the fridge reading for eating!! I have tried the Sainsbury's/Tesco Normandy fat free fromage frais and fat free Greek yoghurt, but nothing comes anywhere near the Total 0%. It is just so divine.
Fiona, they may give free samples out on the roadshows - you'll have to take various disguises and just keep going back for more all day!!

I love Total 0% too. Am a recent convert (8 days) but I'm already hooked. So far I have had it with fruit (love it with Galia Melon), potato skins (low cal spray of course and the Total 0% tastes like full fat sour cream to me) and on Jacket Potato (again, like sour cream). So yes, I'm hooked to - it's a bit of a life saver really!

Sounds delicious - and far better than swirling cream in your soup!

What a shame! I was going to call in tomorrow when I'm up in that direction. I'll look anyway to see what other good offers there are. My fridge seems to be overrun with various types of yoghurt at the moment!

How, I love dips like that, even better if it has garlic in it.

2% is sooooo much nicer, agree Teresa, and well worth the 2% in my view too.

Sainsbury's only have the full fat big tubs and they were on offer, sadly no 0% and couldn't see any 2%. I got the big 0% from Tesco but don't go there often.

To be honest, the 0% is fine. The 2% does taste slightly more smooth if you are eating it as yogurt, but I swap between the two quite easily - one doesn't spoil it for the other.
The 2% seems to be quite hard to find anyway.
Calorie wise it's not too bad anyway, and the fat in it can help you feel fuller too.

Love the Total 0% ! Had a dip made with that and low cal mayo, garlic and chopped chives and it was delicious! Used crudities of course and felt rather full! Have dipped into the Total webpage Fiona and it does seem very useful. No roadshow in Perth unfortunately!

I'm not familiar with this Total 0%.
Is it sweet like cream or is it like natural yoghurt? Could it be used in a curry?

Quoting: sstimesonline how many calories do you think in a good heaped tablespoon?
The whole pot is only about 80 calories so a tablespoon would only be about 30??
If you shop in Morrisons, they have a free magazine highlighting their new food products etc - there is a token inside for 40p off Total 2%. Unfortunately my Morrisons doesn't stock it - but the coupon doesn't say its specific to Morrisons so you could use it elsewhere, but I haven't tried yet.

Natalie, the nice thing is it's really thick like Greek yogurt, so very versatile in cooking as well as just delicious on its own with fruit. I also buy Weightwatchers yogurt, but it tastes really synthetic compared with Total and is probably about the same calories - just comes in smaller pots!

... just copied these from the Warm Weather Food threads where I first posted them - in case anyone's still wondering what to do with their Total 0% yogurt!
I don't much like celery, but it is a very good vehicle for creamy dips in this warm weather. For the dip, take a carton of my favourite Total 0% fat yogurt, and add:
1. some crushed garlic and grated cucumber and a bit of chopped mint if you have any, OR
2. some curry powder and a squirt of tomato puree out of a tube, OR
3. some chinese 5 spices powder and a tiny splash of sesame oil
