Hi,
My consultant says that I suffer from reactive hypoglaecemia and must adopt a low G.I. diet.Is there any good advice,diet or books out there.

I just put GI Diet into Goggle and masses of useful links came up including the one above. The best known book is by Rick Gallop and can be ordered on Amazon, bought anywhere. Good luck.

Another good book is the Wine and Food Lover's Diet (not necessarily about losing weight) by Phillip Tirman which concentrates on Glycaemic Load, some say this is a better measure than GI as it takes into account portion size (e.g. pasta may be medium GI but the amounts we tend to serve makes it high GI).
