in answer to your question - legally not married, mentally and physically completely committed!!

if you have not done ww before i really suggest that you go to a meeting and join. that will give you all the tools you need to do the plan. you can buy the stuff from ebay, but it's often more expensive than just joining a meeting!! if you only go to the 1st meeting buy yourself an eating out guide and a shopping guide, these are really really useful. the plan is very simple and easy to adapt to everyday life inc alcohol. nothing is forbidden, always a plus.

get that done and i will be able to help you with any advice etc etc to get you on your way to being a much smaller weeble.

also a good idea to go to 'groups' and join the weightwatchers group, then you are in!!

i am also a motivator on this site if you would like me to be yours, i will be.

thank you for clarifying that!!

no don't go now, but used to be a leader and used to run 7/8 classes at least each week. loved it, but am busy with my own business now, so at least by being on this site i can carry on but when it suits me.

it really is easy to do ww and if you want to lose weight i suggest you go for it - there is no time like the present.

hi elaine

have you joined the ww group on here?

can i ask how many points you are on at the mo and also what about your exercise levels and what you do if you earn any exercise points.
i also suggest you go back to basics and weigh everything for one week only, it's amazing how our portion sizes can grow. i asked one of the members to do this for me at a meeting and the following week she had lost 4lbs!! she even wieghed her tomato ketchup and realised just how much she had been eating, knocking up her points all the time.
hope this helps, anything else just get in touch

Hi looby lou
I would love to join your group. I am a lapsed weight watcher's member, but still follow the core plan. I have 4 stone to loose and want to get fit to walk the 26 mile moonwalk in Edinburgh in aid of breast cancer in June.

hi susan

hope you have joined the group now. i think your target is great - what a brill challenge.
just remember to take it slowly, don't go overboard at first and get fed up, it's amazing how 1lb per week adds up and doesn't leave you feeling deprived.

anything i can help with or if you would like me to be your motivator just ask.

hi eileen
the size of the portion is up to you!!

however dried rice 60g is 3 points so from that you can tell that every 20g = 1point
incidentally dried pasta is exactly the same!

cooked rice 50g1point, cooked pasta 75g=1point
don't ask me why i am only the messenger.
