the size of the portion is up to you!!

however dried rice 60g is 3 points so from that you can tell that every 20g = 1point
incidentally dried pasta is exactly the same!

cooked rice 50g1point, cooked pasta 75g=1point
don't ask me why i am only the messenger.

hope you have joined the group now. i think your target is great - what a brill challenge.
just remember to take it slowly, don't go overboard at first and get fed up, it's amazing how 1lb per week adds up and doesn't leave you feeling deprived.

anything i can help with or if you would like me to be your motivator just ask.

i also suggest you go back to basics and weigh everything for one week only, it's amazing how our portion sizes can grow. i asked one of the members to do this for me at a meeting and the following week she had lost 4lbs!! she even wieghed her tomato ketchup and realised just how much she had been ea...

Reply by Kevin Smith

Hi Elaine

Can anyone tell me what the current WW plan is?
Last time I did it (2006) it was the SWITCH plan - you could switch between Full Choice or No Count.

Would be grateful of a reply as if its a new plan it might encourage me to try again!

Am another ex-weight watcher - well, re-started in Oct and left by Nov only because I can only go to meetings during the day and the local group met on a day that wasn't really convenient to me. I still cook from the points plan cook book though - ha! well, I did until Christmas struck! Hate throwing food out and still have a fridge & cupboards full of all the rich tasty high-point food from entertaining!
