Hi Steph
As one of the members for June I was nervreacked by the interview and had no idea what I had said until the interview came out. Don't worry it will be fine. I am sure your photo will be super. Especially after all the smiling you will have done. Well done for being chosen.

A quick word to all you ladies...............
As a constant traveller and therefore packer for 30 years, just one piece of advice:
Put out everything you think you need to take - put half of it away - then pack 50% of what is left!! You will probably still pack too much stuff!!
This is a case when less is definitely more!!
LOL

Wrong! I did that last year and ended up going clothes shopping when I ran out of clean clothes to wear! Mind you, it could be a subliminal girlie thing - excuse to go shopping?

I know what you mean!! But may I just say that, given your preferred mode of travel, you probably have 'minimalist packing' down to a science and to a level that the rest of us can only dream of!!

I wish! I've heard of a couple of lads who went off cycling round the world, having taken extreme measures to reduce the amount they were carrying - even down to drilling out the centres of the handles of their toothbrushes!
Have a lovely holiday, Jaki.

Congratulations Jaki on your fabulous achievement.
Back to the original theme of this thread - I disagree about photos being unflattering, I think this was one of my problems. I think I have a reverse form of anorexia. When I look in a mirror (which I try to avoid doing) I never really believe what I see and think of myself as being OK. A photo tells me that I really am overweight and gives me the incentive to do something. I have spent too long in the past thinking - well that's an unflattering photo. Yes some might be unflattering, but overall its the truth!
