Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many mini goals you can set yourself? We've found out you can only change your name twice or it goes blank.

Has anyone tried setting short-term goals then putting in new ones when these are met? Did it work OK? Did it still keep a note of your overall weight loss as long as you didn't change your starting weight from when you joined?

Answers on a postcard to Emm please!

All answers appreciated.

I'd previously put in and updated several goals over the last 6 months. Your profile page does keep a running total of total weight lost

It seems to work fine for me too - Luckily I've changed my name only once but I've set loads of different goals.

My mini goal for the week is to GAG. I'm sure I'm eating less but don't seem to be getting far so perhaps - deep breath - I need to try and get some exercise - sigh ! Now I've said it I really have to try and do it ! Although I have lost 5lbs since I started I feel no difference in my clothes so if I'm to get even close to my goal by 9th Aug I need to do something drastic.

Next weekend I want to report a 2lb loss .....

Alison
Well done on the 5lb loss. Keep positive and doing more of the same for the next month and who knows what a difference you will find. My clothes were looser with the next weight loss after 5LBs and keep drinking water which helps! Just move a bit quicker when you can.

Aha - the FionaC body-morphing theory - it takes your body a bit longer to catch up with the weight loss. You'll probably find you change shape for no rhyme nor reason just when you least expect it. Here's hoping

Fiona and Emm: I've not come across any limit on the number of target weights you can set. I'm on my 4th. However, I've made more changes than that because once or twice I have made a mistake on entering my current weight. If it's lower than target weight, it comes up with "target met" even after you have corrected your current weight. The only way round this is to re-enter target weight and date.
