Good grief did Ferdinand become a goalie for Manchester United?

Er yes Fi, just googled your question above, it would seem Scotland beat England 15 - 9. Golly that's a lot of goals!! Is that normal? Don't know much about rugby.

I have just got back from a long weekend in Edinburgh watching the Calcutta Cup match.
I am glad that I have seen it in print and on the PC , so I know I was not dreaming - Fiona C you are correct - WE WON.
The atmosphere at the match was great and to be honest , the game was poor but Scotland just wanted it more.
Woo Hoo!!

Hi Doug - are you an ex-pat then?

I see you're doing well on the weight-loss front - soon be joining the "lost a stone" club!

My family come from Edinburgh , but I have mainly lived in the south of England as it is where my father settled after leaving the Forces.
I haven't got around to moving as it's nice down here and easy to get back to Edinburgh with regular flights.
As for the weight loss , due to the great weekend , I have probably slipped a bit but the "lost a stone" club would be nice to join.
I notice that you are already a member - well done.
Keep up the good work.

Well the good news is that despite a hectic weekend of celebration , I have not gained anything.
Granted , I have not lost anything either , but I am pleased with the overall result.
One more weekend then I can knuckle down and try and shift some more weight.
Come on,Scotland!

... in my book that IS good news.

Why don't you join Ab Fab U Less and weigh in with us every week? I know we're a bunch of girls but we have one token male in the group who would probably be glad to see another bloke on there with him!

I'm only just starting to feel human after a FABULOUS day/night Saturday....I honestly could have cried when they won...they 100% deserved it and good to see Mike Phillips on top form (of course Mike Phillips in tight shorts isn't the only reason I watched )
