It was the sunrise actually - went to an old Bronze age Fort on Hadrian's wall at 4 o'clock on the summer solstive to watch the sun come up!

Thanks everyone for the kind words!!
Its amazing what a difference it not only makes to your looks but to how you feel as well - i feel so much healthier, more energy, ready to do anything!!! Now sometimes when i'm walking somewhere i just get the urge to run and so I do.... where as before i would dread even the shortest walk!
I hadn't really realised that I looked so much younger either until you guys said so! crazy!!
so thankyou everyone!

Sue, you look utterly gorgeous in the Summer Solstice picture. There is just something alive in you that reaches out, somehow. Great you shared it.
Interesting all this about short hair - am having my locks chopped on Friday. After a couple of years of it being long, and unmanageable, am going for the chop. Not elfin like Mrs Beckham (tho she looks fab, and I can wear it that short), but defo cropped up.... Am nervous about it, so appreciate your  Natalie!!
